Adventures Through The Mind ~ Podcast
ATTMind is an interview-based podcast focusing on psychedelics. It is hosted by Canadian author and public educator, James W. Jesso.
“My primary goal with this podcast is to explore psychedelic cultures, research, and medicine. However, attached to that primary goal is a secondary goal: supporting the personal and cultural integration of psychedelic experiences in a functional and healthy way. I move towards that goal by exploring the psychedelic field with a curiosity for immediate and valuable relevance to a person’s lived life.
The psychedelic experience really shines when we find a way to integrate what we’ve learned from it into our daily lives. My desire to help that with that integration on a personal and cultural level is why I make Adventures Through The Mind.”
James W. Jesso is the author of Decomposing The Shadow: Lessons From The Psilocybin Mushroom and The True Light Of Darkness, both about his experiences exploring the potentials of psychedelics.

Furthermore, he takes a deep look at the actual legitimacy of psychedelic ‘healing’, and its potential dangers insofar as false dawn syndrome, spiritual bypassing, and entity attachment or possession.

Dr. Monica Gagliano takes us on a deep dive into the results of her scientific research into plant intelligence. But also shares the profound impact of her personal encounters with the living intelligence of the natural world, and what those encounters have revealed about herself, about life, and about the murderous consequences of modern scientific training.
While Terence McKenna was selling out speaking events, Dennis McKenna was publishing peer-reviewed research papers. Terence sadly died in 2000, Dennis is still with us, and is in fact, with us directly on this episode of Adventures Through The Mind.
R. Coleman takes us through the wealth of knowledge he has earned over his 30 years of healing trauma with psychedelic psychotherapy. We discuss trauma in general, the value of psychedelic to heal it, and the nuances of working with different psychedelics, for different people, at different times, for different issues.
