Jonathan Dickinson joins us to discuss the ibogaine experience.
Jonathan is the author of the new book, Ibogaine And The Bicameral Mind (2026) and CEO of Ambio Life Sciences, one of the worlds biggest ibogaine retreat centers.
You might have seen his name jumping around in podcasts recently, as it seems like several interviews have dropped around the release of his book this month. This interview with Jonathan it’s gonna be different than a lot of those. Rather than focusing on the neuroscience and the history, I decided to really put a lot of focus on what happens subjectively during an Ibogaine experience, and why it is that it seems to be so good for so many people.
Our conversation explores not only some of the more commonly reported parts of the ibogaine experience, like sensory overload, auditory hallucinations, and life reviews; but also those that are much more esoteric in nature, like communication with entities or dead loved ones, telepathy, and prophetic visions of the future.
