Aldous Huxley is brilliant.
I highly suggest reading his last novel, his magnum opus, ISLAND. Huxley himself said it was intended to be the anti-thesis to Brave New World, and it really delivers. His vision of what a sane society could look like is beautiful. The final chapter depicts the main characters journey on a special blend of psychedelics that allows him to see the totality of human existence once and for all. The infinity of compassion, and the darkness of ego all at once are shown to him.
