This is a personal vlog entry about KAMBO.

It was shot about a month after my 5th session with it and is a follow up to KAMBO vlog 1, which you can watch here.

In this video I talk about:

  • vulnerability and anger after my ceremony, as well as the role of anger in a healthy individual.
  • body pain, perhaps from autoimmunity
  • being cleared from love-sick confusion

The essay I mentioned in the video, The Art Of Loneliness, can be read here.

**** Info about anger in relationship conflict from Francis Weller and explored beautifully in this video (outside link).

? A LITTLE BIT ABOUT KAMBO

Kambo (Kambô) or ‘frog medicine’ is a traditional medicine harvested from the Phyllomedusa Biocolor, aka the giant monkey tree frog. This is a species of frog local to the Amazon jungle and surrounding regions.

Its secretions, which are usually (though not always) harvested from the frog with respect, are placed onto recently opened burns on the skin (gates) and in turn, activate a wash of purgative and healing mechanisms in the human body.

This video is a personal vlog entry following up one month since my 5th session with Kambo, done by my mate Pontinhos in London England on September 2, 2018.

Here are two people I have done this medicine with whom I trust. I have no financial affiliation with them whatsoever. This is simply two people from whom I have received Kambo and trust are knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of holding a safe space.
