I was honoured to be approached by Obo Martin of What We Bring Back to be featured on his radio show.

We get rather personal as I talk about much more than the mushroom in this interview, including my experience of the tragedy at Entheos Festival 2012. Listen via the embed player below.

“What We Bring back is an interview series presented as an audio collage exploring the Intelligence of the plant kingdom and  the interrelationship we have cultivated with this alliance as human beings . We aim to lend an ear to the voice that speaks from the heart of the earth to our minds bodies and souls. ”   -Obo Martin.

You can check out more of what they are offering by heading to WhatWeBringBack.Org.

(They’ve got some cool interviews on other plants including Kratom and Amanita Muscaria.)

***EDIT: At about 14m20s, there is a point being made about David Nutt wherein he was said to be a prosecutor but “He was the UK government’s chief drug advisor. He was sacked after publishing a paper that ranked legal and illegal drugs according to their relative harms to users and harms to society.”  (quotes belong to the person who commented on this page to make the clarification, which were confirmed as correct. Thanks for that feedback.)

  1. David Nutt was not a prosecutor. He was the UK government’s chief drug advisor. He was sacked after publishing a paper that ranked legal and illegal drugs according to their relative harms to users and harms to society.

Thanks for that clarification, it’s been a while since I relistened to that recording. What point in the interview was that spoken of and who? I’d like to make a note in the blog post correcting that mistake.
